Kainoa's (Hale'iwa Town) - Open Mic Night (Every Tuesday)

Our first night was a success. If happiness is the truest measure of triumph, we're all victorious. Tuesday nights in Hale'iwa are about to take on a new form, in the shape of freedom being brought to the open mic by HonoZoolu Host with the most, Seph1. Backed by GrooveYard (Kodia on bass, JonGon on guitar, & Mike on drums), North Shore is soon to feel the natural force of change coming to the Historic Town. Some of Honolulu's finest even came out to play: Paisley sang a few tunes, Reggae jammed some percussions, Ray Anthony shared some of his saxophonetics, Jon Hawes graced us with his bass riffs, while others watched and listened with great anticipation.

I have high hopes for all the inspiration that is about to grace the residents and travelers, locals and tourists alike for this upcoming season of soundwaves and surfers. I know there's an array of talent in the woodworks just waiting for the word of mouth to spread enough before they take the chance to come out to Hale'iwa Shopping Center. See what the buzz is about...
