Open Mic Night @ Higher Ground Music Cafe' (Wednesdays)
Taking a holiday break for the next two wednesdays before we gather again in the next year, but it was truly another wonderful sendOFF for patrons of the parish and an awesome welcome to the new Wa-hi-awa wisdom in an old town with a lot of country knowledge and folk talk to crowd the joint. An air of gospel inspired art and universal appreciation for oneness in thought and action; embracing one another's musical tastes for a moment or two, or three if you've got 'em.
Wednesdays have grown to be most favored for listeners and lovers of instruments by players of music pieces and learners of faith. Sound leads the congregation towards patience, waiting between sets and creating from dream reps. Some flowing within streams kept for the clean and fresh minded, golden greens and refined grips on reality, especially when instroductions are just a formality. Liberty and freedom for rivers unscene, victory.
Just to say a word forward through misery and those who keep close company, spots of doubles dosed shots of trouble solution, fully water proof, possible confusion. Some battle with selves, within self's delusion, cell's illusion, self-pollution. Remember the wealth of what is known, not spoken, uninhibited movement; exhibit improvement. Groovin' past the police tryin' to prohibit smoothin' it out for the next two cents.
